Well I just finished taking the fuel tank out of the Z, which wasn't bad at all . Now I am ready to put in my new racetonix pump which I bought months ago and have just gotten around to putting in now. I Lost the link to the website with the directions to install this system. I have the whole wiring harness and everything, can someone point me to where I can find these directions .

Also I am pretty sure that when I began researching this problem months ago I found the answer to my problem but I just wanted to make sure while the car is all apart that this system will solve my problem. The car is hard to start after it site for a few min hot or cold. I have tracked it down to the fuel system which will not hold any pressure for more than a few min. From what I have read it is due to the check valve in the fuel pump going bad (I have already checked everything else) the car also hesitates at around 1500-2200 RPMs. Will using the racetonix fuel pump solve these problems? Or at least one of them??? Is the “check valve” inside the pump itself or do I need to buy something else??

 

The new fuel pump will cure your loss of fuel pressure issue but I don't think it will solve your hesitation issue.
