I won't do business with Racenet again. I'd find someone else to do port work.

Do a search on Racenet and you'll see what he's talking about. 90% ratings are usually good for a company...but not when 10% is approval for these guys. I've never done business with them before, but have been swayed from ever thinking of it again. You could do what I'm and many other have done, if you're looking economically, and go with Lloyd Elliot. He is truly an awesome guy to work with and I'll be sending my stuff soon. He is very reasonable and knowledgeable. You could get your heads ported by him and flow better than their's and have unbelievable customer service and also read all the positive feedback. I had a post the other week on his flow numbers and there have been a ton of other positive threads. All you'll need are some rr's, springs, valves, etc. and you could get out a lot cheaper and be more satisfied by the experience...unless you don't care what to spend...

Do a search for "racenet". You will find more opinions.

Kevin Herbert, Slim had a IRS Stage II heads and a Comp X.E cam, that car made in the 380RWHP range and it was an auto with a big converter. The car went 11s on street tires from what I hear. I rode in it once and it was fast.

$800+ valve train order and the only thing right was the rockers, pushrods and springs...

Wrong cam
wrong studs
terrible shipping
**** poor customer service

Jim Lab (aka Jim "i have semi's tow money to the local speed shop" Lab) has had problems with them

they suck in general.

I'm fixing to order some combination motorsports heads myself, they are bout $1500 and i'm convinced that the difference in customer serivce is worth that money.

Funny thing happened when I ordered from them.
I called them up, and they answered the phone.
Then I had a pleasant conversation with Seth.

I gave him a list of parts i needed (springs to hold .640 lift, titantium this chromoly that and so forth...) He took care of it. No dancing around. No confusion. No reinventing the wheel. No splitting the atom.

Then they didn't change me till my springs actually shipped.

pretty crazy huh?

I can say none of the above is true with racenet.

Very pleasant to deal with too. I just ordered my SPEC stage 3 and had ordered a cam and gaskets. They actually "look out for you" and try to help you with the best combination of parts. Nothing but good to say here.

Ditto.....I had problems on the first and last order I had with them.

I had one of our local head builders/porters do my work. Probably a better job and much less expensive.

I should have the flow #'s this weekend to see if that is true.

Are we talking about the old Internet racers supply? I know their website is www.racenet.net so is this who you all are referring to? Just curious cause I havent had any bad dealings with them as of yet, but I really havent ordered anything from them since they changed over to the racenet name. Also I had a set of stage 2 heads from IRS and they are the ones that were on my car with the times in the sig. They really were a nice set of heads and didnt flow too aweful bad either

I think he's talking about the company here in houston...I think. From what I've read...order the parts 6 months in advanced
