Unhappy R.I.P to my Baby I owe it this much....

Well Monday morning at 11:30 am My Z was pronounced Dead in some strangers yard. My girlfriend was taking it to work at my moms store to save on gas money. Seeing as i drive twice as far as she does. And by the way she is 2 and a half months pregnant... She had to wait for the pepsi truck to pull into a parking lot. The road was wet from that days rain aswell as it still drizzling... so from the intersection she travelled 100 feet, according to the pepsi delivery man she did not speed, she did not nail the car , all she did was increase speed to 30, then the car broke traction on one of those round topped old country roads and went head first into a telephone pole, cutting it down and throwing the car into a tree in the yard...... Windsheild, hood, hell whole front end, door, back driverside 1/4 panel front rim, dash due to teh smoking air bag canister they thoght would set the car on fire and both air bags.... but the ol girl was still runnin, even though she was toatled.

I am proud of my car, my girlfriend is ok, only had a scrape mark from the air bag. My Z took a bad beating, it is totalled, but My girlfriend was not. I always new the car was safe.

Just wanted to say thank for all the help in keeping my Z runnin when she had problems

I believe the next step is a organ transplant of the engine and trans (if ok) into my 69 chevy pick up. plus i have my sites on a 94 formula..............

my car may be gone, but the memorys can never be replaced....

some people may have seen this a corny... but some people just have a relation ship with there cars....

thank u
jason

i am gonna miss ya....

That sucks man, seriously. Really glad to hear that your family is ok though, that honestly is the important thing.

That post wasn't corny at all, it was a necessity, i would have done the same thing.

Again, truely sorry.

Glad your girlfriend and baby are okay.

This isn't corny at all. I think all guys have ties with their cars, especially FBodies, since we're always tinkering with them.

Isn't it nice to know that cars made of "real" steel can help protect in an accident.

I agree, glad your wife walked away safely. The car is just a piece of metal, they come and go. There will always be another out there. As far as the corny, not at all, I talk to my car like were having sex when im working on it haha. "You like it when I put this bolt in ya don't ya huh? Yea your gonna love my new toy, I got you some LCA's" lol. I even named it .

I don't know what I'd do with myself if I lost my car!

But it's very good to hear that your GF is okay!
