I currently have hooker and the cops hate it. I personally love it but its very loud and annoying the neighobrs to the point that the cops are at my house every other week. The car has le2 heads and cam on a 355 so that doesnt help with noise level. Any help is much appreciated.

 

Put a bullet in the intermediate pipe or some noise reducers in there. Either will work but the noise reducers will help more. The reducers usually give a few hp drop but nothing noticeable. Give them a try.

 

How about running the stock cat back with elec cutouts? Best of both worllds

How about using a short bullet muffler on each tailpipe? I wonder if anyone has tried that yet.....
