Check out the SLP dual/dual (probably the quietest), Dynomax, and Magnaflow.

I don't know why you would want to. You have the best of both worlds. Uncap the cut out for racing and/or track. Plus have the stock exhaust for long drives. I would spend $120 on an electronic cut out, flip of a switch and 5 seconds you are uncapped. For quiet, I would get the Corsa for the cleanest tone, but very pricey. B&B Triflow also suits well. Stay well away from Flowmaster, loud, not really all that deep, and very poppy. Don't get what I have, its very deep.

its not going to be as quiet as stock, and its never going to be quieter. If you want something that quiet, go find yourself a stock replacement muffler or a muffler off of a luxury car with a single 2 1/2 exhaust. Be prepared to put a stock cat back on it as well.

IMO just get yourself a highflow cat and a decent catback like Hooker or Dynomax. Its not going to be as quiet as stock, but it won't be so loud either.

I have had a Hooker Catback for a while now running it with manifolds and it was damn loud, everyone thought I had headers. Well last week I put LT's on and it's quieter now than with the stock manifolds...

My opinion, a Hooker is what you need!

the reason i want a catback because my electric coutout is 3" and it would be silly to put it in a 2 1/2" pipe. the reason i want it quiet is because the cops here hate loud cars, and i would get tired of listening to loud exhaust all the time. so i will rephrase my question. what is the quietest and fairly inexspensive cat back system. and if i want it loud i will flip the switch.
