Quick Wiring Question

I'm going to wire up my DMH cutout, it's about freakin time, and I had a question. First, for the ground I am going to run it to the ground on the cig lighter. For the 12v source I am going to run it to the my traction control ignition wire instead of running it all the way to the fuse box. Do I need to use an inline fuse when wiring it to this source?

Re: Quick Wiring Question

I just wired mine to the cig lighter 12V and I grounded it out to the body of the car. That way it will work with the key off.
