i got a electric cutout from quick time and i didnt get the switch to open and close it ive tryed calling them and they say they will send it out and i never got it, so my question is can i cut the connecter off and splice in the the wires and just use a normal switch. if someone could help me out it would be great thanks

Yes you can cut off the connector and use a switch provided it has 6 prongs on the back of it. (Double pole Double Throw). It will be wired just like the switch in the left of this diagram.
