Quick question water pump removal.

I need to get my water pump off so that i can replace it because it is leaking. I got all the hoses off and everything out of the way. I got the left side of the water pump off and now i am having trouble with the right side. I got 2 long screws out and a nut. There is nothing left to unscrew. I noticed that there is a bracket that holds the air pump and it seems to overlap one of the waterpump holes.

I was wondering how do i get the water pump off the rest of the way, do i need to get the air pump and its bracket off or not?

Dude!!! You missed one Bolt!! move the water pump to the side.. you will see the hidden bolt in there. There are three bolts on each side of the water pump. 6 total. Look at your replacement pump and use it as a reference guide to find that last sucker. My pump is out right now and I went through the same deal.

Re: Quick question water pump removal.

you have to take the air pump bracket off. Also the nut you took off is part of a stud. You need to take the stud out to get the pump to come loose.
