Quick Q: Safe to start the car on stock manifolds only?

Nearing the end of the rebuild and was hoping to fire it up sooner. Are the stock manifolds too short?

Your O2s won't be of much use and you would only want to run it very briefly. I don't see how it is going to help you any. IMO, it would be better to button it up and then start it. Then you can let it run at an elevated rpm like you are supposed to with a new engine.

yea, ill pin it up, its just that the bolts on the flanges on the manifolds are all f'ed up and will take a long time to get the rest of the exhaust on.

Do it right and it will be worth the wait.
