Question Quick Mac header and offroad pipe install question

Do I have to buy another flange to weld to the y-pipe to connect the offroad pipe? Basically, what extra parts or welding is required? I have these coming in the mail and I need to know. Thanks again.

Um, unless I'm reading this wrong, the offroad pipe and the y-pipe are the same thing. Hence the name off-road y-yipe.

I forgot to mention, its for a 95 single-cat Z28. It's different from a 96-up...the y-pipe and offroad pipe are two different things.

on a 95, the y-pipe and offroad pipe are different things.

Your y-pipe should bolt up to the offroad pipe no problem, if you got the mac ypipe with mac offroad pipe. nothing else needed.

the only time you'd need the starter flange it comes with, is if you cut off your existing cat from the old y-pipe and want to bolt it into your mac y-pipe.

but from the sounds of it, you won't need to buy anything else, the offroad pipe is just a direct bolt-in.

the off road pipe takes the place of the catalytic converter. The y-pipe is the y-pipe

No need to weld, same setup I have, everything just bolts together.
