quick lt1 conversion question

some people have told me that i need a stronger driveshaft for my 3.8 to lt1 swap. does this mean that the 3.8 driveshaft is not long enough? is a new driveshaft absolutely necessary or just recomended?

thanks for replies

Pretty sure I was the one that recommended that you change it. No one else seems to be responding to your thread.

Length is not the problem, since you can directly swap the other in. If you want to try your V6 shaft, go ahead.

Yes, I pointed that out to him on a previous post.
