quick hotcam related question
quick hotcam related question
I'm using the stock 1.5 rockers with the hotcam (didn't buy the complete kit) when I dynoed I was making 290 (untuned) at 5700rpms where I let off early. I'm pretty sure If I took it up to over 6000rpms it would've hit 300 plus. My question is, how much rwhp would I be looking at if I went with 1.6 rockers? would it be worth the gain?
My main gripe with the hotcam is the small lift. This is fine with stock heads, but not with ported heads. The 1.6 rockers add some much needed lift (.492 to .525) so I'd expect an extra 10 rwhp or so from the 1.6 rockers. A little less with stock heads, a little more with ported heads.

going from .490 to .525 would only account for 10rwhp? wow, so I i'll take my time saving for the 1.6 rockers
thank you
