Quick EGR ?

did a little searching and couldn't come up with the answer. Is it necessary to block off the EGR even if it's deleted out of the PCM?

If your gonna delete it you might as well get the plates and block it off....but other than a possibility of a vacume leak not blocking it shouldnt be a problem.

thank you. it's already been deleted, I was just curious if It was a necessity to have it blocked off. The cars not throwing any codes.
