Questions and Answers.. Upgrades and HP!
Hello,
I'm ready to do a little HP upgrade to my car. I wanted to get the cc306 cam in with the 1.6's and all this summer... but I'm short on time so all I have time for are rockers. I also don't have time to do a Cam swap in less than a week. Emissions in my area is awful... and I've realized cc306 isn't going to happen... so I've been thinking about a similar like cc305 like cam (want to do a custom grind) with a 1.7rocker setup. I plan on installing AFR LT4 195's in the future... also for SH*tty emissions reasons. Would it be wise to go with 1.7's or 1.6's? Since I can't depend on my cam so can I sneak away at the rockers for HP? In the mean time it will be 1.7's on my stock cam till I can pull my motor for an overhaul.
