questioning the size of the harmanic balancer

Question questioning the size of the harmanic balancer

I had just bought an lt1 out of a 94 z28 and i am a bit concerned on the size of the harmonic balancer, this thing is tiny i have been looking up pictures of others to find similarities and have not came across any could there possibly not be one? are these internally balanced

The harmonic damper should be about 7" in diameter. It is not a balancer and is not keyed to the crankshaft. You must, however, run a damper...

These engines are internally balanced at the front and externally at the back.
