Question regarding the Canton oil pan for the LT1

I want to know if anyone has experiance with the pan that DOES NOT have the low oil sensor in it. I am planning on removing the sensor and I am trying to figure out if the normal style pan WITHOUT the low sensor hole will fit a LT1 and cleanance everything. If anyone can shed some lighton this I would appreicate it.

Q-
if you are asking "will my oil level light come on if i dont have a sensor" the answer is no-
i havn't had one for some time now.

Isn't the one without the sensor opening the same as regular one-
just no hole cut

I think you answered my question trey. I'm not worried about the light, I just wanted to make sure a normal 350 pan will work. I didnt know if the hole style and non hole style were the same or not.

Useless sensor that does nothing but get in the way. Why do I need a sensor that tells me what the dipstick and oil pressure already do anyway.

What does it get in the way of? I thought it would come in handy if, say, some sort of serious leak happened on the road or something.

It is a PITA with my headers, and if I had a leak on the road, I would see Smoke, Low oil pressure, and possible temp rising. IMO it is a usless part.
