Re: question on lt1 wiring harness

If I am not mistaken you will need the interior one also to wire up all the gauges etc. All of these go to the pcm also but I may be wrong. Anyone wanna chime in that has done this?? Good luck man and let us know how it goes

Re: question on lt1 wiring harness

all you need is the engine harness(is both engine and trans harness) and PCM, you will need a harness from a A4 car, and you will need VATS programed out of the computer

Re: question on lt1 wiring harness

Maybe you should go ask them Ford boys. Well wait nvm you are doing them a favor by putting a Chevy motor in the junk mustang. The ONLY thing good that ever came out of Ford's production line was the 9"...

Re: question on lt1 wiring harness

oh, and use the output from the PCM for your tach signal

its pretty easy to do, I have a LT1 from a 94Z in my 90 K5 Blazer, running a 700R though(manual trans harness, and T/B from a 93)

Re: question on lt1 wiring harness

oh, and it will help to have the matcxhing connectors for the LT1 engine harness, then you don't have to cut the engine harness any
