Question Question on Hypertech termostat install.

Do I need to drain any antifreeze prior to the install? If so, how much? Do I need to apply any sealant to the thermostat when reinstalling it?

Thanks,
Jeff

just de-pressurize the cooling system by taking the radiator cap off after the car has been sitting for a few hours, and you can take the thermostat housing off....make sure to have rags around it so no coolant drips onto the optispark. the gasket comes on the thermostat so just take the old one out and pop the new one in!

Talking

Wow, those replies were fast. Thank you both for the useful information. Now I feel better about doing the install.

Thanks again,
Jeff
