question on headers

I was looking at the headers that TPiS is selling. The long tube headers number #200-101 Has anyone used these or have a set installed? I want to install them on my brothers Camaro as his car is lowered and I know some guys are having problems witht he JetHots and the hookers scraping over bumps. TPiS says there headers have alot more clearance from the ground.

Friend of mine has them and yes, the ground clearance is very good. Better than anything I've seen from Hooker. Easily install from the top too.

I've seen some pics (on this forum) of the Pacesetters... and they look to have near the same ground clearance. There was a thread here a while back comparing the TPIS and Pacesetters but the search is down right now. I'll try to link the thread once these guys get everything wrapped up with the message board.

Yeah a few of the f-body club members here in minnesota have them. I got a really good look at them this friday and WOW!! The clearance that they have is awesome, really thick flanges and bolt locations are awesome. They look like they would so easy to thread the bolts into the head and tighten them down. I had jet hots on my 96 but I'm definatly going with tpis this time even with the extra cost involved.

EDIT: BTW both of the headers went in from the top without having to disconnect the motor mounts
