Question for everyone not running a cat.

I have Mac headers, y-pipe, and cat on my car, and it turns out that the cat was defective, so for the time being I have a strait pipe on rather than a cat. Without the cat the exhaust smells like raw feul, I mean so bad my eyes tear up when I stand near the car when its running. Does everyone elses car smell this strong?

That's the smell of power! My Camaro did that, but I liked it. Especially when I would drive with my windows down, and when I'd get out of the car, that's all I would smell like. It was a wonderful thing . The only downside is that girls don't like it , but oh well.

Mine isn't bad at all. Maybe the dynotune made a difference.

I have simular mods as you and I noticed it as well. Really bad at first but the more I drove it the less I noticed it. Don't know if it was my nose or my PCM adjusting to the mods.

Mine's not that bad. I've got SLP shorties and !cats. I can smell it more when I took them off, but it's not terribly bad or anything.

Agreed. I have got the same setup, it doesn't smell awfully bad.

I have the CC306 cam, longtube headers into a true dual exhaust and it stinks of fuel. It has already been dynotuned and it was still stinky. It might be giving me a buzz, so I don't mind.
