Question on Custom Cam/Headers for a 93 lt1.
I am thinking about gettin a new camshaft and new headers for my 1993 lt1. I am looking at a 218/224 .544/.544 111 LSA custom cam, and LE1 Heads that consist of:
Re-machined Stock Valves
Crane Dbl Valve Springs (145 lbs seat and 370 lbs open)
Steel retainers and locks
195 cc intake port
milling, cleaning and assembly
flow about 260/180 CFM
assembled and ready to bolt on
The cam/headers im looking at are here http://www.elliottsportworks.com/lt1.html the LT1-LE1 package. So basically where I need the help is im not sure to sure what else im going to have to replace. Im thinking replacing the wires and spark plugs would be a good start, would there be anything else I would have to do or would everything else be fine? This is gunna be a DD so im not trying to try anything that could possibly blow the engine or anything, just looking for some get-up-and-go speed. Input please?
