question for any one that knows air/fuel mixture issues
i posted last night and yesterday that my car has stopped (i hope) the back fire issue at high rpm.
here is my question..
i have a dead wire going to my MAP sensor.. so the sensor isnt getting enough juice to correctly work.. and being the MAP controls the fuel delevery and ignition timing..
i removed the EGR and air pump..
if the sensor is not reading right and is loadin the engine up on fuel, and the egr was stuck open and fillin the engine back up with raw gass, and vaors not burn the first time, is it possible that the engine was gettin so loaded up on fuel...
that it was goin crazy trying to fire off it.......
right now it does not back fire. it runs very good but at low rpm's it still acts like its loadin up just a lil, but thats in overdrive.. besides that it has made a difference
any ideas will help
