Hi,

As I'm planning to pocket port my brand spankin new LT4 heads, but am still pretty much a newb, I've got a question about removing the valve oil seal. While I finally managed to remove a spring (!) and its attendant guides and the retainer, I'm puzzled as to how you go about getting the valve oil seal off. It seems jammed on there pretty good. My questions: (a) how do you get that thing off without damaging it, and (b) do you really need to take it off in order to port the heads?
