On the 97 SS air box/intake there is a hole on the underside of the tube before it connects to the MAF. Is there supposed to be some kind of vacuum line attached to this or is it supposed to be sealed or just left open. Thanks.

 

This is the 3/4" hose that connects the air duct to the inlet of the electric air pump. I have just pluged it, but I don't think it can't be left open since its before the maf.

 

yep goes to the air pump. i just closed mine off since the air pump is long gone.
