Question about OVC Kit: Crimping Tool?

Question Question about OVC Kit: Crimping Tool?

Can i just use any crimping tool or is it best to use the one from taylor? Reason i ask is i bought a kit from somone and they dont have the tool? Any one happen to have the one from taylor?

The one that is provided with the thunderracing kit SUCKS. Go out and buy a real one... You can find them at most hardware/auto stores.

Yeah you should be able to use any crimper you want.I used http://store.summitracing.com/partde...57#largerimage this when I made Taylor OVC wires.It is a really nice crimper and it made the job go faster, but it aint cheap . I have used the vise style before and this was so much better.

I guess i'm real ghetto then. I used normal pliers.. Never had any ends fall or or anything.
