Question about mac mids.

The slip fit on the drivers side primaries is leaking a bit. I bought them used without the clamp that comes iwth them. I put a bit of copper seal on it, and a u clamp, but its just not enough.

I have 2 questions, if i took this header out, and welded it up, would i be able to get it back in? If not, where can i get a proper clamp to stop the madness?

Re: Question about mac mids.

I have Mac's. I used a regular muffler clamp on mine and it hasn't leaked in 3 years. You could weld it if you want but you would have to disassemble your steering linkage and route it through the #1 & #3 primaries...a P.I.T.A
