Question about KN CAI on LT1

Guys i bought a KN CAI, ( Used) $25

I dont know where the plastic thing goes, no the tube..(CAI) the little plastic thing,?

ON my 95 Z ->
MAF-> Rubber adapter tube thing -> K&N big elow piece -> Filter

It came with another piece or two i didnt need.

Thats probably for the 93-94 cars without Mass Airflow sensors to fill the gap. Put the puzzle together if you need the piece use it otherwise throw it away.

What does the plastic thing look like? Is it kinda a wierd shape with a big hole in it and smooth on one side?
