question about emissions and headers
Hello,
I currently am building my lt1 396 w/ 847 cam, jet hot long tubes, and i just passed emissions about 3 months ago with my h/c setup, but now that im going bigger i want to use long tubes. i was wondering what you guys thought about me using the longtubes and waiting 2 years til i have to get tested again, and swapping my mac shorties w/ egr, and emissions fittings back on only for the emissions test, i mean myself i dont really think it is that big of a pain to change headers, but i was wondering what you all thought,
my 396 will have long tubes, custom ypipe, no cats, and slp loudmouth
where my old set up was mac shorties, emissions crap, y-pipe with single cat, and the slp loudmouth.
would it be possible to get a block off plate for the egr hoses now, and just re install later?
