question about crank selection

there is a good possibility i will have to replace the crank. im gona run the engine hard but its not gona get sprayed or have forced induction.

should i go with cast, scat, or forged.

im thinking forged is way over kill for my application.

Find a stock LT1 crank that's in good condition. They're plenty strong.

There's nothing wrong with over building the bottom end, I would find a forged crank (eagle, callies)

Not to mention if you do spin a bearing you'll be out that much more. Wether stock of top of the line foged if you spin a bearing and don't catch it quick you'll need a new one.
