Question about AFR LT4 210cc heads....

I was just wondering who is using these heads and what you think of them. I will be driving my car on the street mostly, but will also take it to the track. I will have compcams make a custom cam for me and I will probably have combination motorsports port the AFR casting for me.

Approximately what size of camshaft will I be looking at?? I will be using JE forged flat-tops with 11.9:1 compression (probably more after block is decked and fel-pro 1047 head gaskets are used).

Any help on the matter is appreciated...

Get the 227's--larger is better and standard valve train.

What size camshaft for what kinda RPM???

No offense, but you're going backwards here. You need to let us know the size of the engine, where you want your HP peak, the gearing, the transmission, the weight, if this is a daily driver/track/auto cross, etc..

The 210 might be ok... the 227 might be better, but who's to know if we don't your intent. Last thing you want is a big lazy port with poor velocity for a mediocre HP build.
