Question Q-tec VS. DMH electric cutouts....

Well, spring has almost arived and I am about to take the bird out of the garage. I just put the hotcam kit on it. My next mod was going to be one of the electric cutouts to help free up some HPS at the track. I saw the 2 most renounced brands were Q-tec and DMH. I've allso heard mixed opinions on both. I would just like to hear some input from people that have them on their cars. Thanks guys.

I have the DMH and it's great. It costs a little more but he stands by his product and the warranty is very good.

Never had a problem with my Q-tecs, and I bought them used too.

I like the DMH cutout because it comes with a 3year warranty, and when I had a problem installing the cutout I emailed Dave, and he gave me a call within 5 minutes!

I just got the DMH and it is awesome, plus a 4 year warranty, can't beat that. $199 to my door.

The quality of the DMH e-cutout is surpassed only by the quality of Dave's customer service!!! You may want to do a search if you don't get alot of responses as this topic has been discussed before. From the posts I've seen, the general consensus favors DMH over Q-tech. If you have a stainless steel cat back, ask Dave about a custom stainless cut-out unit, if you decide on DMH. Hope this helps.
Thanks!

I was the test car for DMH, so I've had it the longest. :P

I've gone through two versions of it, so there have been one or two problems, but Dave is great about getting them resolved.

It seals perfectly, opens quickly, lasts a long time, and... well, that's about all you could ask for!
