Q, Lifters
I would like to know if you would advice me to change my lifters when installing a hotcam or reuse the stockers? The car has appr. 55k miles on the clock....If so, stock replacement or any other?
Thnx.
Thnx.
A lot of people use the stock lifters when running that cam.
Especially with relatively low mileage.
Assuming that the Lifters don't have poor wear characteristics, meaning scoring in the roller and you haven't had a problem with them, you should be fine.
I think you can get a set of OEM lifters for about 80 bucks from autozone but don't quote me on that. That might be cheap insurance for you if your not comfortable reusing them.
Edit: I just noticed that your from sweden...getting lifters from Autozone may be a problem...LOL. As said above, if the lifters look ok then your good to go.
