So, I got the ram air finally hooked up today. I just Cant seem to figure out where to put the opti vent line. For now I have it taped to the AIR port on the box. I know its wrong. Will it work there, or not? I am using the fernco sewer pipe that Injuneer recomends, so no hole for it. Does it need to be right in front of the Throttle body, or will the AIR fitting work? I really dont want to burn up another opti crap.

That should work fine, but technically it should pull air from behind the MAF since it does enter the engine. I just drilled a small hole in the connector from the MAF to the throttle body and used a 2 way barb fitting for vacuum hose.

 

oh ok. Well, Ill just drill a hole in that connector then. I was just trying to see if this would work or not. Thanks!
