O.K. I'm putting my heads on, and looking at this whole spark plug wire routing deal, and wondering if i should route the wires before I mount the heads? any tricks I should try ?

Well, it should be obvious to you that it is much easier to put the spark plugs into the heads and torque them properly while they are out of the car. But as far as the plugs wires go, I do not see how you intend on hooking up the wires on the heads before installing them. The wires are no where near long enough to do that.

Put the plugs into the heads, torque em down, remember to use loctite on the threads. Install the heads. Then worry about wire routing and what not. If you have headers, and OVC kit is almost always the best, (and sometimes only), way to go.
