Putting motor in from bottom, can you leave headers on???
Putting motor in from bottom, can you leave headers on???
I was trying to eliminate the two or so hrs it takes to install my headers...again. And for one time only put plugs in with ease.
I have FLP long tube headers and was wondering if I can leave them attached if not attached and loose and still lift the motor in from the bottom. The tranny will be connected also.
thanks for the info.

Just be carefull and you'll be fine.
My engine hoist had a little leakdown and unbeknownst to me it set the body down a little lower than I intended while I was still lining things up and busted my oil pressure sensor. I didn't notice though until after I was all done....grrrrrr
