Well as the subject states when I go out in the morning to start my Automatic Formula the darn thing is impossible to take out of gear. I have to sometimes use two hands to push the darn button in on the shift lever to get it out of park. Any idea what could be causing this?? I disconnected the wire going to the cylinder under the console and that made it easier but once again it is starting to be a pain. Any help would be appreciated.

I have a similar problem. Mine isn't that far along yet though. I remember my ex gf's mustang did the same thing. My buddy who's a ford mechanic took the console up and put some kind of grease on the shifting mechanism. I guess they're known for drying out. I don't know how similar the two cars are but I'm sure there's something to it. That's probably the problem, but I'm sure someone else can chime in with a more definate answer.
