Put on my hooker...

I installed my hooker catback. It was pretty differcult for me actually. Took me about 2 1/2 hours. It was the hardest exuast system i have put on so far. Maybe because i did it in the dark with a droplight. I'm still not even done yet, i still got to put on the two clamps that go onto the pipes that connect to the muffler. I also got to tighten up the one that connects to the y-pipe. What i want to know is how do you know if the pipes are pushed all the way in or not? Also did you put some grease on them to make them slide onto eachother better, because it was very hard for me to to be able to push them together. The whole system is still very loose. I started the car and i can't really tell much of a difference at idle. But i can tell a bit more when i rev it up. But it pops. I don't know if its because the car was cold or if its because nothing is really tight but hopefully it goes away. I'll let you know how i really like it though when i get to drive the car. I'm still trying to fix the misfire issue.
