my block has been zero decked and I am putting the engine in the car with stock length PRs. They looked to line up just right on the valve stem. Also, I have 1.6 Comp cams Pro Magnum RR's and then had some clearance issues with the spring retainers. I needed to clearance the rockers with a Dremel tool and shorter PRs made that even worse. Oh, I have a 305 cam and Felpro .039 head gasket which gives a theoretical good qwench height (at least that's what I read...)
