Re: pushrod lifter and rocker combo information.

i have done both the method 1 and method 3. Method one will require alot less work turning motor over and all that but takes a bit more concentration to adjust the right ones plus have to get to proper spot (tdc). Method 3 takes several rotations of engine but alot less paying attention lol. Also make sure to have the flat side of roller rocker that goes over the stud facing up(were the nut contacts).

I found one so far bad on pass side. Has an oval roller now. Cam feels perfect..

Still haven't figured pr length or Jack yet.. still trying to figure out how to. Hard to crank engine with just me and breaker bar with wp and everything attached...

I knew I heard it. If the roller is oval there usually is some wear on the cam. Good luck
Example

The cam may feel smooth, but there will be two ridges on either side and the valve will not open as much. The distance of valve travel will be equal to the ridge depth.

Those vids are not really showing roller lifters so those details does not apply, but most of it is standard small block chevy.

haha I forget not everyone has the m6. Everytime I forget to put in neutral and car rocks forward. I wouldnt think nuetral would help you but dont know. Mine turns pretty easy even with plugs in. Perhaps my torque wrench is longer that your cheater bar. I didnt use guideplates.
