Pushrod length

Will my factory pushrods work with this set-up? GM b-body head gasket, .029 thick compared the f-body gaskets which are .039 thick, nothing milled off the heads or the block? So its only a .010 difference, and pushrods are sold in .050 increments.

If you are ever in doubt, it never hurts to measure.

This is the best advice. FWIW, I milled my heads .030" and used the Impala head gaskets and had no issues with the stock push rods.

I will probably just re-use em, the motor is out of a 94, so they are hardened pushrods.

Mine where mill .010 and used the Impy gasket, had to use 7.15 pushrods. Rick
