Anyone that's had heads done by Lloyd (or anyone else) - should I expect stock pushrod length to be correct? I know you're supposed to check the pushrod length (and I'm going to), but has anyone actually done it? I see pushrods offered in stock length and shorter, but what if the length falls somewhere in between?

 

Use your stock rod to check length according to this guide from Comp Cams.

From there you can determine what length checking rod you need. Chances are good you will not need a different length rod.
