Pump gas 396 ci LT1 engine dyno numbers

For those that dont visit the LT1 section at LS1tech.


Just though I would let you LT-1 guys know of this little combo.

-Stock LT-1 block 4.030" bore 11.8 CR
-Callies 3.875" stroke
-Manley billet 6.00" rods
-Canton oil pan

-FMS\Meaux stage 2 AFR rasied runner LT-4 heads( 2.100"\1.60" valves)
-Edelbrock Super Victor carb intake
-FMS solid roller cam 271\283-112 .704"\.688" cam
-Kooks 1-3\4" to 1-7\8" headers( TOO small )

Are these really the RAISED RUNNER or the LT4 raised port?

I thought only a custom intake would work with the RAISED RUNNER head.

Very nice numbers. You mentioned at LS1tech that you are going to put a direct port setup on there as well, that thing is going to be a monster.

There is a Super Victor intake that will work with them..... that's what they used here. Larry Meaux does some killer work, good to see those numbers with that and that big ole cam!

Just to make it clear, this is not my motor. Im just reposting it for those that havent seen it.

I wonder what the reason is/was for building a "pump gas" motor with that size solid roller cam? It's not like it's going to be seeing a lot of street duty or anything

I've seen some ls1 heads from Larry Meaux that never fell off and we flowed to 1 inch lift.
