Pulling the front end up with 3.42's??

Alright i still haven't decided what gear to get. I have decided it's time to save for the Moser 12 bolt though.......that i am sure of....i just need to decide what gear to get.

I was wondering how much hp you think would be needed to pull a full weight Camaro do wheel-stands? Assuming all the suspension work has been done?

500rwhp?,600rwhp?, more?

With slicks/skinnies I've seen it done with under 300 rwhp. But that barely pulled the fronts off the ground. 500 rwhp and a real good suspension/slicks will make for a good wheelstand.

was that with 3.42's? That is awesome if it was under 300 with 3.42's. I want to be able to pull the whole front straight up(as in need wheelie bars) am am thinking 650rwhp should do it

WHY??

Even if you had an engine capable and enough traction to do so, what good would it do? I would rather keep the front end down as much as possible for maximum acceration.

Your not thinking about showing off on the street, are you???

you could probably do it with a stock motor..but you need to go hardcore on the suspension and weight reduction....4:56's or bigger wouldnt hurt
