Pulling crank hub.........revisited

I know this has been gone over 1000x atleast

I cannot find a puller that will accomodate the bolts for the pulley (claws foot type puller). If I go buy a 3 way puller that goes behind the pulley, can I leave the three bolts in and pull both the crank snout and the pulley off in one?

If anyone has any suggestions for where to purchase a puller that will work with the crank pulley bolts, let me know! I have everything off except that (installing electric w/p) and I want to get it finished up asap.

BTW, a used a steering wheel puller that matches my crank threads (bottomed it all the way out) and it sticks out probably 3 inches, so I can push off that perfectly.

Anyone that has some insight, let me know

I went to autozone and rented got a thee jaw puller. You pay for it, and when you return it you get your money back. I then took all 3 bolts out, and connected the puller to the pulley. The center of thr puller sould line up with the center of the pulley. Then crank it in, and it should slide off.

I am pulling the hub and pulley together, not just the pulley. Shouldnt I leave the bolts in?
