I have them, and I hate them. The car rattles like a fiend now... I'm just gonna deal w/ them b/c I like the extra header clearance they gave me and the fact that they're strong.... but if I could do it all over again I would have probably bought fresh stockers.

Just curious, do you have a poly trans and torque arm mount as well? I heard that if all of the mounts are poly and not mixed, the vibration is not nearly as bad. Of course, this is speculation and I don't know if it is fact or not.

I've heard the same. I've got a poly trans mount sitting in my garage waiting to go in when I get a chance. Hopefully that will help some.

The rattling is ridiculous as it sits. I might look into the torque arm mount as well.

Oh.. dunno then..

Didn't shake rattle and roll before I did them... crazy how all these cars respond differently.

Defiantly. Every car is different. My friend never has a problem putting in his longtubes, I swear my engine bay is 1" smaller all the way around. Getting them headers in/out is a chore.

I hear ya, it seems every 4th gen I work on has it's own personality. I had the exact set of headers on my 93 that I have now on my 97 (I mean they are the same set!!) and they went in ALOT easier into the 93 than they did into the 97.

Don't forget most aftermarket torque arms come with the poly mount...rather than buying one separately

I gotta be honest, the car feels exactly the same on the road at normal operation and just a little vibe at higher engine speeds. Overall I'm very pleased. The main positive is that I got rid of the x-pipe tapping the floor on take off.

As a matter of fact I do. However, I'm in dire need of replacing the tranny mount again.
