Im having a few problems with my shifter:

1. Seems like the springs are dying out. When i push the shifter to the left in the past it would spring back to nuetral and it doesn't now. It will stay to the left.

2. The shifter seems sluggish when going through the gears. It feels worn out.

3. I have some kind of black stuff coming out of the shifter when i checked under the shifter boot.

I've had it for almost 11 months. Is this normal? What should i do about this? I bought it from tbyrne should i discuss this with them or should i call pro 5.0? I sent pro 5.0 a email last week and they haven't responded

Deffinently not normal....Ive had my pro 5 for 2 years and it still feels and shifts like day I put it in. Pull the boot off and have a look.

 

Im at work now will check when i get home. What kind of warranty comes with these shifters? Also should i contact pro 5.0 again or tbyrnemotorsports.com?

 

I doubt T-Byrne could do much. I'd try getting ahole of Pro 5.0 again. Mine still feels new, but it's only a month old Good luck man!

no problems here, except for it being a little noisy

 

I put mine in about 4 months ago and I am having the same problems. Plus it vibrates like hell at high RPMs.

 

no problems, but the white grease that was in mine is now black (it's been in there about 2 years).
