Problem starting in moist weather. Will this solve it?

I've been have a problem starting my car is moist weather. Particularly after it's been sitting in the rain. However it's not just rain.. my car was sitting overnight in fog, but not a drop of rain. So it's just moist weather in general.

When I install my new headers, I'm going to replace plugs, wires, coil and fuel filter just for the hell of it.. headers are off so why not.

Do you guys think that will solve my starting problem? Do you think I should spend the extra money and do an opti swap at the same time? Moisture getting into the opti is the only thing I can think of to explain bad starts in only moist weather.

Also.. don't know if this is related or not but when I turn my key to the on position, when then fuel pump comes on, then turn it off, then on, then off and then crank it. It has trouble starting. It only happend once and maybe it was just a fluke cuz I haven't tried it again but.. just though that might mean something.

Thanks

Trevor

Try cleaning your ground that is on the passenger side shock tower. it should have three or four big wires going to it, one going to the starter, computer, and a few other places. Just get a brass brush or some steel wool and clean it up really good, even scractch off some the paint on the strut tower to make it a better connection. Dont try to clean the hole it screws into or you may strip it.

I dont know about the opti and the fog thing, it hast the hood to protect it from the mist/moisture. Really sounds more non-opit to me.

Ok thanks. I really hope it's not the opti... I really don't want to replace it.
