Pro mags

I just bought some pro mags used. They came with no instructions. I know how to adjust for valve lash, ect. What is the allan screw for on top of the poly locks? Thanks!

It's the lock. You use the hex wrench to ajust the nut and the T-Allen wrench to lock down the allen screw.

Also get them tight, but dont go schwarzenegger on them. I have heard of over torquing and cracking the actual poly lock housing itself.

So once the valve lash is set, you just screw the allan screw down and it locks your adjustment. Does it just screw down and hit the top of the stud?

Yes, it screws down and hits the stud. I then give the polylock a slight turn just to lock it in.
