pro 5.0 base with stock stick?

I have a stock hurst shifter..

Will the stock hurst arm bolt to a pro 5.0 shifter mechanism? I want to use the stock arm on the pro 5.0 shifter. I don't like the angled arm at all. In fact the stock hurst is fine, I just want to get something with travel stops so I don't bust the trans.

thanks!

The T56 has internals stops so no worry.

eh, yes, but many folks have also broke t56's because of the inadequacy of the internal stops

i just want to have a little insurance so to speak, and remove what seems like the #1 cause of failed t56's.

*bump*
anyone?

i just need to know if the bolt spacing on a stock hurst arm is the same as a pro 5.0 base so that I can bolt my hurst arm to the pro 5.0 base.
