Pressure plate threads on flywheel.

Stripped one on my flywheel after I had to drill out after I broke it. Whats the thread size so I can buy a tap and re-tap the thread? Thanks.

3/8-16. I would be very careful if you have any damaged threads. You might want to heli-coil it. That is not a bolt you want to have trouble with.

Alrighty, thanks shoebox.

Speaking of heli-coils. Does sears carry these? I've never seen one. I've heard they are like a sleeved threading that you just spring in to fit it. Who carries these?

Most auto parts store, incl NAPA would be a good place.
